The Fulton Trust, a long-staanding benefactor of the Siyazisiza Trust, was founded by donations from the late Mr and Mrs J K Fulton of Kloof, KwaZulu-Natal. Mr James Fulton, who was born in Ireland and remained in South Africa after participating in the Anglo Boer War, was the founder of a large engineering business in Johannesburg bearing his name. Mrs Jane Fulton (nee Cooke) was born in Durban. During their lifetimes, Mr and Mrs Fulton were both generous philanthropists and the Fulton Trust perpetuates their memory by supporting charitable organizations operating in KwaZulu-Natal.

The generous support of the Fulton Trust, totalling in excess of R 3 million since our establishment in 1987, has greatly contributed towards the development of the Siyazisiza Trust which, today, continues to benefit many hundreds of rural dwellers with access to increased levels of food security and livelihoods through the start-up and support of craft and agricultural enterprises.
